Pay Rate: £135 £215 per day

TeacherActive is currently working in partnership with an inclusive, Ofsted-rated Good provision in Hull, committed to providing high-quality education for pupils with a range of special educational needs. We are seeking a qualified SEND Teacher who can deliver engaging and accessible lessons, tailored to meet the individual needs of learners, starting immediately.

What are we looking for? We are particularly interested in SEND teacher s with experience supporting pupils with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- ADHD, ADD, or associated behavioural needs
The ideal SEND Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Have experience working within SEND or alternative provision settings
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and differentiation strategies
- Be confident teaching across Key Stages 2 and 3
- Experience with a Nurture Curriculum
- Bring a calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
