Description

• Manage a team of 6 within the AP function.
• Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Supervise and support the accounts payable team with daily tasks and queries.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment and invoice-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices in accounts payable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

• Team management experience.
• Strong experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting & finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems used in the business services industry.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Proven ability to manage a team and prioritise tasks effectively.
