General Assistant
Hourly rate: £12.60 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Bolton
Part-time position: 20 Hours per week

The Role
Are you a personable and energetic individual looking for an exciting opportunity? We want you to be part of our fantastic Love Shack café team! In addition to contributing to the energetic atmosphere of our cafe, you'll also take on general tasks around the office, making each day unique.
If you've had experience in a similar environment, especially in catering, we want to hear from you.
What's in it for You?
Flexible Working Hours: Enjoy flexibility across the week, with additional hours to cover absences. Regular working patterns include Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (10:00 am - 3:00 pm) Thursday is a non-working day unless covering absence.
Training Opportunities: A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is preferred; we provide training.
What you can expect to be doing
Helping to manage the day-to-day operations of the Love Shack, including the food and beverage services.
Preparing and cooking food, and handling storage for meals like breakfast, brunch, and lunch, including items such as sandwiches, wraps, soups, etc.
Ensuring a fantastic experience for our LOVE teammates, who are our valued customers.
Taking charge of maintaining high standards in our offerings, drawing inspiration from the latest food trends. Our menu will focus on providing top-quality grab-and-go options and a variety of hot and cold sandwich items.
Assisting with stock ordering.
Supporting the facility's upkeep by handling daily office tasks like restocking, and reporting maintenance issues. Also, managing grounds maintenance, monitoring the car park, and reporting any issues promptly.
Helping with Health and Safety checklists to ensure a safe work environment in the café and during on-site duties.
A Bit About You
You will have worked in a similar environment and ideally have some experience in catering. You will constantly deliver exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting our Teammates in our fabulous facility.
As well as having excellent communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for customer service and have bags of enthusiasm.
You will need to be quick, efficient and a team player. You will enhance customers experience with your personal touch and make sure the cafe is run with the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential, training will be provided.
