Installations & Service Technician

Elevation Recruitment Groups Service Division is supporting a fantastic and innovative engineering solutions driven manufacturing company with the recruitment of an Installations and Service Technician as they continue to grow their aftermarket engineering team.

The client has a huge demand for their market leading product, which has had an extremely positive effect within critical infrastructure all over the UK.The Installations and Service Technician role will cover all of the UK, involve lots of travel, and staying away from home on occasion. A company van, phone, and diagnostics kit will be provided.

Key responsibilities for the Installations & Service Technician include:

• Installation of engine aftertreatment systems
• Diagnosing vehicle faults using specialised diagnostic equipment
• Maintenance of engine aftertreatment systems
• Periodic servicing
• Produce concise field-based reports
• Travel to customer sites and depots throughout the UK

Key skills, qualifications, and experience for the Installations and Service Technician role:

• Qualified to City and Guilds 383 level 3 or equivalent in light or heavy vehicle repair and maintenance
• Full UK driving license
• Computer literate with experience of using e-mail and Microsoft packages, Word and Excel and vehicle diagnostic software
• Excellent attitude towards Health & Safety
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability in a field service role
