Parts Advisor
Location: Norwich
Salary: £27,000 £29,000 (OTE £30,000 £32,000, depending on experience)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday + 1 Saturday morning per month (paid as overtime)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join our team based in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for automotive parts and customer service to play a key role in supporting both the workshop and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling parts enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
Identifying, sourcing, and supplying correct parts for customers and workshop technicians
Maintaining stock levels, placing orders, and managing incoming deliveries
Ensuring all parts are billed accurately and efficiently
Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
Keeping the parts department clean, tidy, and well-organised
Assisting with stock checks and inventory control
Using dealer management systems to process orders and track stock
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role within the motor trade (franchise dealership experience desirable)
Good working knowledge of parts systems and processes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
IT literate experience with systems such as Kerridge or similar is an advantage
A proactive and professional attitude
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £27,000 £29,000 (dependent on experience)
On-target earnings of £30,000 £32,000
Paid overtime for Saturday morning shifts (1 per month)
