EC&I Technician

Title: EC&I Technician

Our client is looking for an EC&I Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant by delivering high-quality maintenance and technical support across all EC&I systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert EC&I maintenance support to maximise plant availability and operational efficiency.
• Advise management on safety issues and support continuous improvement of safety performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for both routine and defect-based maintenance tasks.
• Perform planned maintenance (PM) inspections on all safety instrumented systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline in all work areas.
• Assist with planning and execution of plant maintenance shutdowns.
• Recommend system modifications or maintenance enhancements to improve performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation maintenance.
• CompEx certified with proven experience in hazardous area working practices.
• Hands-on experience with DCS, ESD, and PLC-based control systems.
