About the Role
As a Physical Chemist, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Your primary responsibility will be to measure, understand, and model the physical properties that play a crucial role in designing and developing the next generation of agrochemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise a variety of analytical and chromatographic techniques to deliver high-quality experimental data.
- Collaborate with scientists from diverse disciplines to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative methods.
- Design and execute new assays and approaches to overcome scientific obstacles.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and critically analyse experimental results.
- Work effectively within a team, ensuring timely delivery of experimental outcomes.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- A PhD or strong undergraduate degree in chemistry or a related field.
- Practical experience with analytical and chromatographic techniques.
- Understanding of how physical properties of compounds affect their behaviour in biological systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to scientific challenges.
- Strong communication abilities to engage with multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to delivering results under tight deadlines.
