You'll be the key link between customers and the workshop, making sure everything runs smoothly and customer service stays top notch.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor / Customer Service Advisor / Service Receptionist

• Manage incoming service bookings and customer enquiries
• Coordinate repair schedules and liaise with workshop staff
• Advise customers on repair timelines, costs, and any additional work
• Process paperwork accurately for job cards, invoicing, and warranty claims
• Sell service plans and additional products when appropriate
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times

Skills and Qualifications for a Service Advisor / Customer Service Advisor / Service Receptionist

Essential

• Experience in a service advisor or customer-facing automotive role
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident using computer systems and handling admin tasks
• A proactive and customer-focused attitude

Desirable

• Experience within a commercial vehicle or HGV environment
• Kerridge or other DMS system knowledge
• Full UK driving licence
