About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Squad Lead - Braze Campaigns to work on modern marketing automation use cases and their technical implementation. In this role, you will lead end-to-end Braze-powered campaign delivery, mentor a technical team, and drive agile execution for customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical implementation of Braze campaigns across channels: Email, Push Notifications (Mobile & Web), In-App Messaging, and Content Cards.
Architect and execute complex customer life cycle journeys using Braze Canvas.
Use Liquid Scripting for dynamic and personalized content at scale.
Configure and manage Braze SDKs, APIs, custom events, and user attributes.
Integrate Braze with Customer Data Platforms (eg, mParticle, Segment, Tealium).
Partner with data engineering teams to ensure reliable and privacy-compliant data ingestion.
Define, execute, and monitor QA processes, campaign testing, and optimization.
Support A/B testing and performance analytics to improve campaign effectiveness.
Provide technical mentorship to junior colleagues and ensure adherence to best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of overall professional experience in marketing technology, customer engagement, or software development.
3+ years hands-on experience with Braze in technical/implementation roles.
Deep expertise with Braze modules:
o Braze Canvas (journey orchestration)
o Email Campaigns (HTML/CSS, A/B testing, dynamic content)
o Push Notifications, In-App Messaging, Content Cards
o Custom Events & User Attributes
o Liquid Templating for personalization
o Braze SDKs & API integrations
Strong knowledge of customer segmentation, data modelling, and journey personalization.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web technologies.
Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and compliance best practices.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills:
Braze Certification (Certified Practitioner or Architect).
Experience with analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).
Prior team leadership or mentoring experience.
Knowledge of mobile/web SDK integration and tracking.
