HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 drivers required for 3 months, full-time work based from a depot in Severn Beach, BS35.

• Pay rates £17 - £22 per hour PAYE, depending on shifts
• Start time's between 0130 - 0600
• Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays when required
• Holiday pay on accrual basis
• Canteen and free parking on site

About the job

• Daily vehicle checks
• Store deliveries
• Handballing - loading and unloading vehicles of cages, dolly base and pallets
• May be required to drive a class 2 vehicle but still paid class 1 rate
• Completing delivery paperwork as required

The right candidate

• UK Class 1 driving licence, Full CPC and Digi card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, IN, or TT endorsements).
• 2 years of recent and relevant HGV driving experience
• Excellent communication skills
