Job Description

Berry Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients for a large establishment based in King's Lynn who are expanding.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality audit services.

Location: King's Lynn Type: Full-Time

Salary: 33,000 - 38,000 per annum (DOE)



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors

  • Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable standards

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to internal controls

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for audit projects

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes



Qualifications & Skills

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification

  • Audit experience required

  • Strong knowledge of audit methods and accounting standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
