Dispatch Operative

Right Now Group are working with an exciting High-value goods forwarder based in Feltham. They are looking to bring on board a new Dispatch Operative for their team, to connect the Operations, Warehouse and Transport divisions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being versatile between manual warehouse work, office duties and communicating with clients. Responsibilities of a Dispatch Operative:

• Conducting thorough checks on cargo to ensure accuracy, security seals, and condition before dispatch.

• Liaising with drivers, couriers, and security personnel to arrange secure transport.

• Maintaining accurate records of dispatches, including tracking numbers, delivery schedules, and PODs.

• Ensuring strict adherence to security protocols and chain of custody procedures

Requirements of a Dispatch Operative:

• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or dispatch operations (high-value or secure cargo preferred).

• Knowledge of security protocols, chain of custody, and compliance standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling time-critical shipments.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong communication skills for liaising with drivers, clients, and internal teams

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000Location: Feltham / HeathrowShift: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)
