Job Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Brighton
Salary: 32,000 - 42,000 + Benefits
A well-established consultancy is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding team in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically capable consultant with experience in environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects to progress their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects across a range of sectors, carrying out noise surveys, acoustic modelling, and preparing high-quality technical reports. You will work closely with clients, architects, planners, and design teams to deliver practical and innovative acoustic solutions.

Duties for the role of Acoustic Consultant include:
Undertaking site visits, environmental noise monitoring, and acoustic assessments
Delivering building acoustics work including sound insulation and room acoustics
Producing high-quality technical reports for clients and planning authorities
Liaising with project teams, stakeholders, and clients throughout project delivery
Supporting junior consultants and contributing to business development
Skills and experience required for the role of Acoustic Consultant:
Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related subject
2-4 years' experience in acoustic consultancy
Knowledge of relevant standards such as BS4142, BS8233, and BB93
Proficiency with acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or SoundPLAN
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence
