Description
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Drive process improvements within the Accounting & Finance team to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience in management accounting within the not-for-profit sector or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary of approximately 42,300 to 51,700 GBP per annum.
