We are working with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, known for delivering high-quality transport planning and infrastructure solutions across the UK. With a growing London office, they are seeking an ambitious Transport Planner to join their expanding team.
The Role
As a Transport Planner, you will support a variety of development planning projects from early feasibility through to planning approval. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a consultancy environment that values innovation, sustainability, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans to support planning applications.
- Carry out junction capacity modelling and traffic impact assessments using software such as Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, and TEMPro.
- Contribute to sustainable transport strategies and masterplanning projects.
- Prepare clear, professional technical reports for clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Support senior colleagues with client liaison and project delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
- Previous experience in development planning within a consultancy or local authority.
- Knowledge of transport planning software (Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, TEMPro).
- Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-driven, and able to work both independently and in a team.
