  • Ensure compliance with Principal Contractor duties under CDM regulations (H&S, fire safety, quality).
  • Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and resident liaison officers.
  • Oversee planning, sequencing, and resource allocation for cladding removal and replacement.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks/delays, and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure all works achieve regulatory and building control approval, particularly relating to fire safety.
  • Manage reporting: progress updates, cost tracking, programme monitoring, and handover documentation.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and enforce site standards.
  • Support defect management, aftercare, and project close-out.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, with specific focus on cladding remediation, façades, or external envelope projects.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and fire safety requirements.
  • Track record of delivering projects as Principal Contractor, ideally on high-rise residential schemes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations, and subcontractor accounts in collaboration with the QS team.
  • Relevant H&S qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold, First Aid).
