We are currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Greenwich to recruit a reliable and proactive Science Technician to join their Science department immediately. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
  • Supporting the delivery of practical Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

  • Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for experiments

  • Ensuring laboratories and equipment are maintained to health and safety standards

  • Assisting teachers during practical lessons when required

  • Managing stock levels and placing orders for supplies

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or lab environment (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of lab safety procedures and practical science support

  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • A science-related qualification is desirable but not essential
