Your new role
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team in Warrington. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting the business in securing large-scale projects valued at 10 million and above across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed and accurate cost estimates for major projects.
• Leading the preparation of tenders, working closely with pre-construction and delivery teams.
• Analysing contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate pricing.
• Building strong relationships with supply chain partners to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Evaluating risks and opportunities in tenders and advising senior management accordingly.
• Presenting tender strategies and reports to leadership teams.
• Maintaining strong client and consultant relationships to support business growth.

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a Tier 1 main contractor.
• Strong track record of estimating on large-scale projects within education, healthcare, industrial, or custodial sectors.
• Proven ability to manage bids for projects valued at 10m+.
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of construction methodologies.
• Strong IT skills, with proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management) or equivalent professional experience.
