Job Title: Housing Surveyor Stock Condition and Compliance

Hourly Rate: £30 to £40 per hour (negotiable depending on experience and chartership)
About the Role We are looking for an
Interim Housing Surveyor to deliver stock condition and compliance surveys across a large social housing portfolio. This assignment will suit an experienced surveyor who can work independently, complete accurate surveys and contribute immediately to housing compliance and investment programmes.
Key Responsibilities - Carry out structured property surveys, collecting data on condition, compliance and energy performance
- Identify and record hazards, defects and safety risks in line with regulations
- Collect evidence for damp and mould assessments, including environmental readings and photos
- Ensure surveys are compliant with Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS and other statutory requirements
- Upload survey results promptly into asset management systems
What We re Looking For - Experience in housing, building surveying or property maintenance
- Ideally MRICS or MCIOB, but experienced non-chartered surveyors are welcome
- Knowledge of stock condition methodology and compliance frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work to tight timescales
- Full UK driving licence
