Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking an Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a contract basis in Samlesbury. This role involves hybrid working arrangements with 1-2 days on site per week and is set to last for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality engineering lectures to students within the defence and security sector
- Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure content is current and relevant
- Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance and support for their professional and academic growth
- Collaborate with other lecturers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of engineering and integrate these into teaching materials

Job Requirements:
- Experience as an Engineering Supervisor
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices within the defence and security sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
