Are you who we are looking for? - We are looking for a hands-on, sleeves rolled up Care Home Manager. We are looking for a leader who will be accountable and dedicated, whilst challenging the organisation to be better.

The Role Responsibilities:

The Registered Manager s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• To provide positive leadership to the administration, care and nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance staff.
• To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service, and selling its services at the agreed prices
• To maintain the operations of the service at the standards agreed with the Registered Provider by following policies and procedures, and the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
• To safely recruit suitable staff
• To oversee the induction of new starters in accordance with company policy
• Lead, motivate and direct staff
• Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all heads of department and other staff as necessary, including the end of probationary period interviews
• Develop staff to their full potential, ensuring succession planning for the service, using delegation skills
• Ensure that a multidisciplinary team working culture is embedded in the service adhering to equality and inclusion at all times
• Demonstrate a flexible management approach to appropriately manage different situations
