Job Description

We are working for one of our clients who is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their growing Private Client team in Faversham, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected regional law firm with a welcoming culture and excellent prospects for development.

The Role

You will be supporting a highly regarded Private Client department handling matters such as:

  • Wills

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

  • Probate

  • Court of Protection

You will work directly with the Head of Department, taking ownership of key administrative functions while developing legal skills for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence

  • Managing diaries and coordinating appointments

  • Handling client communication and liaising with third parties

  • Organising both digital and paper filing systems

  • Preparing Court bundles and supporting proceedings

  • Typing and completing dictations to a high standard

  • Managing incoming/outgoing post and administrative records

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can demonstrate strong document production and formatting skills, particularly using Microsoft Office

  • Is organised, efficient, and proactive

  • Brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ideally has experience in a legal or professional services setting

  • Has an interest in growing towards a paralegal role (though not essential)
