Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, ensuring a seamless process for clients during property transactions. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the conveyancing process, from initial instruction through to completion, while maintaining high standards of client service.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the conveyancing process for residential properties.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
Conduct property searches and due diligence to ensure compliance with legal requirements/AML.
Handle financial transactions related to property sales, including deposits and completion funds.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process.
Provide expert advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions.
Ensure timely completion of tasks while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar role within the property sector is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in conveyancing software and knowledge of LEAP an advantage
Exceptional time management abilities to priorities tasks effectively under pressure.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,420.00-£50,000.00 per year
