About the Role

Due to ongoing expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting tendering and pre-construction processes, providing accurate cost advice, and ensuring competitive, high-quality bids that align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for industrial, commercial, logistics, and retail projects.
• Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to identify requirements and risks.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to obtain and evaluate quotations.
• Develop cost plans, bills of quantities, and value engineering proposals.
• Work closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure consistency across pricing and methodology.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies for tenders.
• Maintain and build relationships with supply chain partners to support competitive pricing.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally on industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, cost planning, and tender processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the supply chain.
• A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
