Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: circa 26,000 - 32,000
Hours: Full-time

A well-established, independent accountancy and advisory firm in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. With a strong culture of partnership and personal growth, the firm supports over 500 clients and employs more than 30 people, offering a dynamic and inspiring environment for ambitious professionals.

The Role:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
• Supporting client queries with a proactive, service-focused approach
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax compliance
• Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
• Working closely with senior team members

The Ideal Candidate:

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available)
• At least 2 years of practice experience
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Comfortable working across multiple clients and industries simultaneously
• Proactive, organised, and aligned with a culture of continuous improvement
