Description
- Conduct planned and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to colleagues when required.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- An electrical qualification in engineering or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- A strong understanding of health and safety standards in industrial settings.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
