Senior Occupational Health AdvisorSalary :- £48,000 - £53,000 per annum, (can be flexible for the right experience ) + packageThis role is going to be based at home and at the Head office in Coventry.Are you an experienced occupational health advisor, who wants to add real purpose and direction to your career and feel genuinely proud about what you do? An impressive and established utilities company which is going through a journey of transformation and growth is seeking an Senior Occupational Health Advisor. Looking for a professional who is able to lead with a caring attitude, to influence and engage with others and develop the new inhouse occupational health function. This is the first time the Occupational Health role has come in-house, which will involve establishing the Occupational Health service as the company is moving away from external provider to ensure a more consistent, personal, comprehensive and hands on service to their employees.You will be working from home 3 days per week and based at the Head office, in Coventry 2 days per week and reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Manager, with access to a wider supportive network.Main responsibilities:Help to establish and manage a new in-house Occupational Health & Wellbeing service, focusing on a positive, proactive and high quality ethos Management of referrals, no more than 6 per monthDaily management of the Occupational Health team, including workload, recruitment, performance management, training and development planning, Day to Day management of team & service delivery issuesSupport development and delivery of Health Promotion CampaignsAdvise on all Occupational Health matters and liaise with key stakeholders to develop and evolve the services to meet the business needsDevelopment of Occupational Health policies, standards and procedures in liaison with SEQOHS standardsDevise, develop and deliver Health Surveillance and Health Assessment Programmes, maintain compliance at >90%Prepare for and attend key stakeholder meetings and events, delivery of reports and presentations relating to the Occupational Health serviceMonitor and report on service delivery metrics through collation, analysis and interpretation of health-related dataProvide insight and understanding to the business on guidance and legislation relating to health and wellbeing at workEnsure third party service including EAP and Rehabilitation provision is delivered to agreed SLAsDevelopment and delivery of an audit process for team members and key servicesEssential qualifications and experience :Broad experience of Occupational Health nursing, ideally in the Utility SectorRegistration with NMC Part 1 and Part 3Postgraduate qualification in Occupational HealthExperience working in corporate field of Occupational HealthExperience of SEQOHS standardsBuilt, Led or Managed an Occupational Health TeamPersonality requirements:Dynamic and positiveTactful and engagingApproachable and supportiveCommunicative and able to gain buy in from all levels of the workforceInterested?
