Description Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate budget management and forecasting. Provide insights into financial performance and suggest improvements where necessary. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in the preparation of detailed financial models and analyses. Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end financial activities. Monitor financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Deliver presentations and reports to senior management and other stakeholders. Profile A successful Senior Finance Analyst should have: A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent). Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting within Local Authority, with a focus on Asset Accounting Strong proficiency in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel skills. The ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively. A thorough understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills. Job Offer Competitive daily rate of approximately 500 to 550, depending on experience.
