As our operations grow, we will be hiring for multiple full-time, permanent positions over the coming months. In this role, you will work on a 3-week rotating shift schedule. Shifts are 12 hours each (from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), alternating between days and nights. Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Forklift and Bagging Operative to work based on the outskirts of Downham Market on a 3 shift rotation basis at British Sugar. Responsibilities and Duties include: Assist in the running of the bagging lines. Assist in movement of stock around the warehouse Quality checking all items to ensure no packaging damage Working with a electronic stock control system General Warehouse and Factory Duties (will include some line work) Manual physical work will be involved Days, Afternoons and Night shifts Full training will be given however previous experience within a manufacturing background would be beneficial. The shifts will consist of a 3 shift pattern- Days, Afternoons and Nights- Monday to Friday. You must be able to do all 3 shifts. A counterbalance Forklift license would be required. However you will be required to complete bagging production duties. Hourly rate: 15.42 per hour A driving License and own transport is preferred due to company location.
