Your new role As Head of Data, you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and implement a strategic data vision. You'll lead a talented team, manage data risks, and champion data governance, quality, and compliance. Your remit includes embedding scalable AI/ML capabilities, improving data architecture and engineering in cloud environments, and aligning data initiatives with business goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the group-wide data strategy Drive stakeholder engagement and promote data literacy across the business Embed AI/ML into core applications and workflows Chair the Data Governance Group and ensure ethical data use Oversee supplier relationships and service maturity What you'll need to succeed 15+ years' experience in delivering data-based projects at a senior level 3+ years in a senior data leadership role Experience of Board Reporting Experience of implementing Data Governance Experience of delivering Data Architecture Experience of delivering Data Engineering in a cloud environment Experience of delivering AI & ML initiatives What you'll get in return Joining this organisation means becoming part of a large, nationwide network with thousands of employees and hundreds of local offices.
