Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for a long-term Warehouse position earning an excellent rate of pay, with plenty of opportunities to work overtime?

We are now recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives to join the Assembly department of a key logistics supplier, located in Castle Donnington. This is a renowned logistics company, who pride themselves on excellent service within the transport and logistics field.

Warehouse Operative Pay:

£10.50 per hour for day shifts

£11.50 per hour for night shifts

Additional retention payment of up to £1500 - paid on 7th January 2022 on completion of your shift rotas (based on attendance & performance)

Overtime will be paid at time and a half, for any hours worked over 46 hours (in line with rota requirements)

Your duties as Warehouse Operative will include but not limited to:

• Assembling small plastic components
• Packaging items to specific quality standards
• Reworking damaged items
• Conducting quality checks
• Working towards a realistic productivity target
• Stock picking in down-time
• Other ad-hoc duties

To become part of our Warehouse Team you will need to have the following:

• Strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Can commit to 12-hour shifts (stools are provided so you can opt to stand or sit)
• Can work to a reasonable pace
• Respect others whilst working within a team environment
• Immediately available

Warehouse Operative shift patterns will be:

7am - 7pm Day shift or 7pm - 7am Night shift

Working 4 shifts on then 4 shifts off

Fixed rotas so you have clear work/life balance

The positions are based in East Midlands Gateway and offer onsite canteen facilities with hot food 24 hours, free gym and free parking. Also accessible by public transport.
