This Senior Java Developer role will see you working in the Data Tribe which has access to the Twitter Firehose and data from many of the other major (We aren't allowed to mention names) social media platforms.
You will have the chance to apply your Java knowledge to building Real Time big data pipelines which process petabytes worth of data!
Regards to your experience you will need to be a Senior Java Developer with a proven background of working with the latest incarnations of the Spring Framework.
Any experience of working in data engineering teams, or experience of the below technologies would be a huge added bonus but not essential and the client is more than happy for you to learn on the job!
In terms of your approach, we are looking for evidence of collaborative working and the ability to mentor more junior team members and have a passion for consistently improving as a team, rather than being a lone wolf!
