Senior QC Materials Analyst

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior QC Materials Analyst to join a growing biotechnology company based in South West London. As the Senior QC Materials Analyst you will work in the quality control department and you will be responsible for working with raw materials and establishing raw materials policy, flow strategy and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. You will lead the sampling and testing of raw materials.
2. You will work with programme management, quality, supply chain, development and manufacturing to meet deliverables and deadlines.
3. As the Senior QC Materials Analyst you will be responsible for writing appropriate documentation such as materials policies, ensuring compliance and safety before releasing them.
4. You will define management and flow strategies of product intermediates, raw materials, standards and consumables.
5. You will support out of specification investigations, deviations, change controls related to raw materials.
6. As the Senior QC Materials Analyst maintaining calibration, qualification and validation of material testing equipment will be among your duties.

Education and Experience

1. MSc or BSc in a relevant Scientific discipline and a number of years of industry experience working in QC including extensive experience with raw materials.
2. Proven industry experience working in a GMP laboratory in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology/biopharma company is essential to your application.
3. Proven experience with reagent preparation and material handling is essential for this position.
