*IT Technician*
Security Plus is a family run cash in transit business with locations in England, Scotland and Wales and are seeking to recruit a multi skilled 1st/2nd line IT Technician to join our IT Team based at our Head Office in Trentham.
*ROLE DUTIES*
Troubleshoot a wide variety of incidents in relation to hardware, operating systems, networks and software faults.
Creating and maintaining user accounts in Active Directory.
Creating and managing mailboxes on exchange servers.
Maintaining Avaya VOIP Phone system.
Support for UniFi enterprise Wireless network.
Network Printer installation and support.
Exposure to mobile device management.
Support Ticket/Inbox Management.
Exposure to SQL Server.
Asset Management.
Following and adhering to change management processes.
Ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users.
Face to face, telephone or email technical support.
Out of hours / on call support
Travel to remote sites.
Documentation and Procedure writing.
*ROLE REQUIREMENTS*
Use and support of a wide range of Microsoft Office products (2)
Use and Support of a wide range of Operating Systems - Windows XP, 7, 8, 10
Use and Support of Windows Server Operating system -2.
Basic understanding of network core infrastructure (Domain controllers, DHCP and DNS)
Basic understanding of TCP/IP.
Basic understanding of WAN/MPLS.
Excellent interpersonal Skills (face to face, telephone and written).
Ability to actively participate in IT projects.
Proactive, results focused and self-motivated.
Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
Drivers licence.
