General informationKitchen PorterRef: 26Job InformationDivision:CaterplusAdvert Closing Date:08/12/2021Number of Hours:Full-timeSalary:£8.91 Per hourContract Type:PermanentLocation:London, N2 0BEWorking EnvironmentWe are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at Nightingale - Hammerson Care Home.Shift earliest start 07:30 latest finish 21:00There is always overtime available if you have more availability.You will have a month in advance Rota available so you know exactly when you work.Address:Hammerson Care HomeHammerson House50A Bishop's AvenueLondonN2 0BEJob DescriptionYour key responsibilities as the Kitchen Porter will consist of:Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all timesEnsure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clientsBe responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with proceduresOperate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are usedEnsure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with proceduresEnsure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with proceduresAd-hoc duties to support the catering team and servicesWorking Pattern: 5 days out of 7 Rota - 40 Hours ContractSkills and ExperienceThe experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Kitchen Porter include:Genuine interest in customer service excellenceA great team playerCatering experience desirable but not essentialBenefitsAs part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £8.91 per hour, plus uniforms, meal on shift, free parking on-site and company benefits.This role also comes with a workplace pension and 28 days holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays).
