Job Type: Full-time, Management Contract Salary: up to £60,000 + £5K Car Allowance We are seeking a Head of Apprenticeships to oversee and effectively manage the design and delivery of Apprenticeship Standards across our centre. This role is integral to our strategy and requires a qualified engineer with a strong background in industry and an understanding of Apprenticeship Standards in England. Day to Day of the role: Develop annual operating plans that align with the strategic direction set by the Board of Governors and manage these plans within the approved budget. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all aspects of operations. Manage the design, delivery, and quality of programmes and services, ensuring high standards are maintained. Oversee quality assurance processes and engage with customers to review service levels and satisfaction. Lead and motivate the management team, ensuring effective performance and professional development. Manage health and safety standards and ensure statutory obligations are met. Act as a deputy for the CEO in their absence, handling operational duties. Promote the organisation positively in the media and uphold the company's values, including equality, diversity, and safeguarding. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Engineer with a background in industry. Understanding of Apprenticeship Standards (England) and post-16 education. Proven track record of effective people management. Exceptional organisational, planning, and administrative skills. Highly computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated with excellent communication and numeracy skills. Ability to manage a varied workload and work flexibly within a small team. Experience in planning and managing budgets is desirable.
