Early Years Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a good primary school based in Slough that are recruiting for Early Years teaching assistants from February 2022.

The SENCo and Headteacher of this brilliant, high achieving school in the heart of upbeat Langley, Slough is keen to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to work within one of their Reception class. The role will consist of working within Early Years, a key worker to 8 pupils of mixed abilities. The setting has good overall behaviour along with high expectations when it comes to supporting their learning with Phonics.

The role will involve

• Delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Work alongside the EYFS team to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions for small groups of learners that need additional support
• Practical experience delivering phonics.

The teaching assistant roles are full time, 5 days' week and will be due to start in January 2022 to continue for the full academic year.

you must;

• Have previous experience working in an Early years setting
• Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
• Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your previous childcare work
• Ideally you will be local to Slough
