You will be joining a growing team of talented, enthusiastic and motivated designers and researchers. User Centred Design is at the heart of everything we do. Working within an agile, cross-functional, product team, you will deliverbest-in-class solutions across multi-device platforms.

Key Responsibilities / What you'll do:

  • Own the delivery of elegant solutions for Reed.co.uk products - from early discovery and exploration through to pixel-perfect designs, always iterating, and looking to improve the experience.
  • Research constantly with users, translating qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Solve complicated architecture and business problems, collaborating with stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to and help maintain the Reed.co.uk Design System, creating compelling, re-usable design patterns.
  • Lead regular UX workshops, reviews and other team-wide design efforts
  • As a Senior member of the Design Team, mentor more junior team members, and champion user-centricity and a culture of design excellence within Reed.co.uk.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing for responsive web and native apps in a business context, with a strong portfolio to back it up.
  • Expertise in user research, information architecture, wire-framing, prototyping, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent typography, iconography, colour and layout skills, using Figma and other relevant design tools.
  • A strong influencer, confident supporting and challenging requirements, briefs and assumptions.
  • Experience collaborating with teams of product managers, engineers, researchers and designers throughout the product development process
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and relentless attention to detail
