Mechanical Engineer - Prime and Super Prime Residentail

- £39,000 to £45,000 - Directly employed
- or £250 to £275 per day - Self employed
- Permanent
We have positions available for career focused Mechanical Engineer.
Ideally from a Plumbing and/or Gas background you will be be working in Prime and Super Prime residential properties within the Central London area.
Your customer service and client management skills must be second to none!
We have both PAYE and self-employed roles available.
For the right Mechanical Engineer we offer:
PAYE Role
- £39,000 to £45,000 basic pay, depending upon experience
- Overtime available with uncapped earning potential
- Fully expensed van, fuel card and mobile phone etc.
- Pension scheme.
- 28 days holiday allowance inclusive of bank holidays.

Self-employed Roles
- Day rate between £250 and £275 depending upon experience
- Flexible schedule
- Options for the hire of a company van
What the Mechanical Engineer needs:
The role will be based in some of Central London's premium residential properties and, as such the successful candidate will need to have previous prime residential experience.
Experience of delivering the highest level of customer service is essential.
An in depth knowledge of HIU/FCU/MVHR systems is a must.
Most likely you will be from a plumbing and/or gas background with the following qualifications and experience:
- Gas
- 2 years qualified gas experience ideally specialising in breakdown and repairs.
- Up to date Domestic Gas Safe qualifications / Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
- Plumbing
- 2 years plumbing experience ideally specialising in serving, repairing and maintenance.
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent (level 2 will be considered with the right experience)
Other essential requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good IT Skills and use to working via a PDA / Mobile Device.
- Ability to problem solve and think clearly under pressure.
- Own tools.
- Clear DBS.
