Page Personnel are recruiting for a Commercial Energy Analyst on behalf of a growing utilities business based in Salford.

This role will be responsible for liaising with the operations & billing teams regarding network performance, ensuring that the business understands what they are billing and recovering vs. what is being consumed.

Description

Commercial Energy Analyst duties include:

Provide estimation on consumption: monthly/budgetary & for medium term forecasts Understand if TOR/BD models are inline with actuals Assess changing patterns & behaviour, adding MI to improve future forecasting and projections Analysis of monthly information & highlight to operations where areas are not performing as expected & to be investigated. Ensuring route of recovering & link between upstream & downstream consumption. Develop an annual process of reviewing how the business procure & sell commodity on its private networks Develop a Gas, Electricity & Heat procurement strategy Work with partners to understand the long term indexation forecasting for the regulated business & quantifying impact Work with LGE to understand the efficiency of large projects such as our flagship MediaCityUK site

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in a similar role (utilities experience is required)
  • Experience in performance analysis and utilising data to provide recommendations for improvements
  • The ability to proactively build on-going relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst having the ability to adapt as priorities/demands change and initiate action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel

Job Offer
