We'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse RSCN / RMN at our service Taplow Manor in Maidenhead.
Taplow Manor is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18 with a diagnosed mental health condition.
We specialise in supporting young people with severe or complex mental health conditions who need intensive inpatient treatment. We are dedicated to providing caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we achieve this by working together with our young people, their families and other professionals.
Age range: Young people aged 12-18 years.
What you'll be working:
We're flexible, so you'll work a total 39.37 hours per week on a rota basis.
Working 7 days a week
39.37 Hrs per week
Monday to Sunday
What you'll be doing:
Working according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker (with facilitation) for a defined group of patients / residents and take responsibility for:
Protecting and supporting the health of individual patients / residents
Assessment of care and health education needs
Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient
Under supervision, to gain experience and skills in:
Clinical practice
Facilitation and teaching
Management (as appropriate)
To take charge of the ward/department/unit in the absence of senior nursing staff following performance review
To adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period

A current NMC Pin registration
A legal right to work in the UK
