Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their tight knit team on a permanent basis. They offer full turnkey solutions to some of the biggest brands in the fibre industry, from initial design and planning to implementation and ongoing maintenance. Stepping into this organisation that has established itself as a leading and trusted build partner in the telecoms space, you will be given the autonomy to take control of the variety of contracts already in place and implement new process. Day to day responsibilities: * Manage various contracts and ensure costs are measured against the contract * Analysing the productivity of field based employees and implement ways to improve cost efficiencies * Risk analysis and cost analysis on civil engineering works Experience for the role: * NEC4 experience * Ideally have a background in fibre engineering. A background in any of the utilities is also desirable * Ideally have CDM experience * Ability to use Excel spreadsheets efficiently Salary and benefits: * Up to £60,000 per annum * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * £300 per month car allowance * Pension scheme
