Key responsibilities for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and as part of the Lead Infrastructure Team, you will help to provide technical leadership for the IT Operations practice and provide technical guidance to these teams. You will develop and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure the availability, integrity and performance of services and will work with key IT partners and suppliers to develop, test and implement new solutions, ensuring that the most effective technology is used to meet business requirements. You will also manage roadmaps in line with maintenance or the platform and delivery of functionality alongside organisation requirements. What we're looking for in our Senior Infrastructure Engineer : To meet the requirements for this role, you have advanced knowledge and experience of network principles (routing/switching/firewalls) and in depth knowledge, proven expertise and practical experience in at least one of the following: Cloud networking management (AWS/Azure) Onpremise physical routing, switching, firewall technologies You can take a technical lead on significant project planning and implementation and problem resolution, including liaison with other technicians. You can also demonstrate strong leadership through coaching or mentoring and have the ability to define and manage technical risk and lead implementing appropriate mitigations. Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationships with stakeholders is essential.
