You will be working for a major UK company based in North Wales.

Your new role

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation
• Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers
• Support VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and timely
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accountancy and Finance
  
• Junior level experience in accountancy in finance roles
