WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will need:

• 
  
• 6 months relevant experience in the last 2 years as well as the relevant skill sets.
  
• Valid NMC PIN.
  
• Right to work in the UK.
  
  

THE ROLE

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment of needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care for clients admitted on the ward. You will also be required to supervise the work of junior staff, ensuring the highest possible standard of nursing care in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of Leeds & York Partnership Foundation Trust, the Mental Health Act, and all other legalisations.

As well as the above duties, you will also be required to carry out duties such as:

• Being shift coordinator, nurse in charge,
  
• Administering medication,
  
• Admissions and discharges,
  
• Patient care.
