Programme Surveyor Opportunities (East/West Midlands) £39,745 - £44,161 per annum (depending on experience) Home based East / West Midlands with regular travel Permanent,Full Time Join our growing team and help us make a difference! As we grow our External Contracts & Delivery team, we're specifically looking for two skilled Programme Surveyors to support our mission of building a better future through investments in affordable homes, services, and communities. In these roles youll be responsible for managing investment works and related issues across a locality to ensure stock is maintained, customer satisfaction is increased, as well as contributing to the development and delivery of Platforms Asset Management Strategy. Some of the things we are looking for: Considerable experience in the housing or construction industry Knowledge of Building safety regulations, particularly CDM, asbestos management, site safety management and fire safety requirements (including knowledge of fire risk actions and Stay Put Policy) A sound understanding of construction to deliver a broad range of property related activities. A relevant technical qualification in construction or building services (e.g., HNC/ HND in building studies or equivalent) Experience of customer consultation in a planned maintenance/construction setting Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, contracts, and procurement Good management skills and experience of successfully managing project teams, external contractors and liaising with other building consultants/professionals to deliver programmes of maintenance work. Knowledge of Section 20 is considered desirable Although this role is home based, it is essential to have a full UK driving license and the ability to travel around properties across our Tame locality (Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire). Your business travel will be reimbursed from your home address as per the inland revenue mileage rates.
